Fessy, Beaujolais
The Fessy family has been winegrowers for 5 generations, with the latest generation being brothers Henry & Serge. Like most producers, Henry is a winemaker, grower and négociant. It is in the latter capacity, that he produces our exclusive Fleurie 'La Roilette', from the parcel of land considered to be the best for producing Gamay. The Roilette soil, the ripe grapes and Henry's blending skills give the wine a rich velvety, violet scented wine, not unlike a Morey-St.-Denis.
