Domaine Parent
Domaine Parent has been making wines in Pommard since 1803, and remains in family hands today, cultivating 50 acres of vines. The vines used to produce the Bourgogne Pinot Noir average 30 years of age, and are grown on clay-limestone soil. After hand harvesting and destemming the grapes undergo cold maceration for around 3 days and fermentation on the skins for around 2 weeks. The wine is aged between 2 to 15 months in oak casks before blending and bottling at the estate.
