Cantine Leonardo da Vinci
Cantine Leonardo da Vinci was founded in 1961 by 30 cultivars, with the first harvest occurring in 1965. Based in the Montalbano region, the vineyards cover 500ha giving the winery the ability grow and blend grapes to a more consistent style, year in, year out.
With the arrival of Alberto Antonini as wine consultant at the end of 1996, the quality of wine produced at this fantastic cooperative has risen to such high levels that the basic Chianti is as good most Classicos.
