Bon Cap
Bon Cap is a 6th generation family who run a totally organic winery, based on the banks of the Breede River, in the Eilandia Valley, 25km outside of Robertson. The low rainfall, low humidity and compost rich lime soils, known locally as Red Karoo (Terra Rossa) make ideal conditions for organic farming as the two chief problems of rot and disease find it difficult to take hold, whilst the rich soil negates any use of non organic fertilisers.
