Bodegas Araco

Established in 1987, Bodegas Araco is situated in Laguardia (Alava), bounded by the Sierra Cantabria to the northeast and by the left bank of the Ebro River to the west. The winery is the fruit of the combined experience of 14 families with a long tradition for making wine from vineyards from around the municipalities of Laguardia, Lanciego and Banos de Ebro (Alava), their aim, to unite their efforts to guarantee both the true Alavesa origin and quality of their wines. All the wines, Bodegas Araco, produce are made from grapes grown in these families’ own vineyards, totalling 200 hectares of Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha from, on average, 30 year old vines all situated in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa.
