Powerful and unique, Vintage Ports are only made in exceptional years from the best fruit, and aged in wood for just two years before bottling. As a good value alternative Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is made from a single year and then aged for five years in wood before bottling. Tawny Port is made from a blend of different harvests and aged for a long period in wood. The fruitiness of the wine recedes giving way to mellow aromas of spice, dried fruit and liquorice with a rich, nutty palate.
