Security
This e-commerce system is secured by I-Next Limited using industry standard 128 bit encryption using a trusted certificate from Thawte Consulting (one of the most respected names in online security).
The purpose of this page is to help you verify that the Balls Brothers site uses the latest security techniques to process your transaction.
There are two ways in which web pages can be sent to your browser, http (which is open) and https (which is secure and encrypted). When you arrive at the payment page you might be nervous because the address in you browser shows:

You will note that this appears to be from an http server, which is open. However, we have embedded a secure form within the web page. In the image below the pink area shows the area of the page which is secure.
To test the security yourself simply click either of the Thawte Secure Site logos on the payment form. These will connect you, via a popup window, to Thawte Consulting's Siteseal server. This will check, in real time, our certificate and encryption. You will see a report direct from Thawte establishing that the embedded form is secure. If the form which contained the logos was not secure, or from a known Thawte site, then you would see an error.
In addition to this, you can verify that the form is served from an https server. Exactly how you do this will vary depending upon the browser that you use. However, in all browsers you need to right click anywhere in the area indicated above. You can then either select Properties directly or select This Frame -> Frame Info . This will pop up information about the embedded form. In this information you will see that the form is served under https and is, therefore, secure.
